                                                       Technology Acceptable Use Policy for Students
 
    In school, digital cameras, computers, and other technology equipment are provided for the following:
 ❏ Development of proper usage of the materials and computer equipment 
 ❏ To thoroughly educate as an investment for their future
 ❏ Practice safety when browsing the web/internet
 ❏ Enhance learning skills
 ❏ Sharpen research skills
 ❏ Build on typing, multi-media, and word processing skills
 
*It is extremely important to know that using technology is a PRIVILEGE! Be aware that the internet is NOT PRIVATE! Thus, internet activity files can be DETECTED!
 
 
 
 
 

                                                                                               Regulations
 
 ❏ Permission and supervision from a teacher is required when using technology
 ❏ Keep your passwords to yourself
 ❏ Please tell the teacher if inappropriate pop ups appear on screen or of any cyberbullying activities 
 ❏ You must use sites approved only by the teacher
 ❏ Do not use the technology equipment to gain profits
 ❏ Only use emails provided by the school when accessing accounts on the internet
 
                                                                                              IMPORTANT!
 
  If the student is not in compliance with RESPECTING the policy, consequences are as following:
    ❏ If  warned the 1st time, you will receive instructions on strengthening your understanding of the regulations 
    ❏ If warned the 2nd time, you will need to explain what you did wrong through writing a letter
